Oversight Board questions grant of tenure to 1,032 temporary government employees
Although for “the moment” it will not prevent its implementation, the Financial Oversight and Management Board (FOMB) questioned the government’s granting tenure to 1,032 transitory employees under Act 96 of 2023 and warned that it may be “discarding other candidates” with merit, thus violating the public service reform.
