Washington, D.C. - Puerto Rican Representative Nydia Velázquez (D-N.Y.), along with a dozen Democratic colleagues in Congress, urged the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to include Puerto Rico in a survey that would, among other things, determine the island’s housing stock at a time when displacement of sectors of the Puerto Rican population is being reported.
