Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner in Washington, Jenniffer González, stated on Friday that she seeks to persuade U.S. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson, currently on the island, that Puerto Rico can start a transition process from the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
